Rio Carnaval is not an ordinary work. It is the actual canvas on which Romulo Kuranyi painted live during Carnival Rio in 2026 — as the first artist ever to be granted that honour. What you see here is not the result of studio work, but the direct resonance of a historic moment: created in the middle of the Sambódromo atmosphere, surrounded by rhythm, movement, people, colour.

For this reason, this work is not offered at a fixed price like the other originals. It is a collector and exhibition piece — significant to Kuranyi’s body of work, biographically rooted in his Brazilian heritage, documented through press and video.
