VIBRA ICON is the first limited furniture edition from the collaboration between artist Romulo Kuranyi and Italian designer Moreno Pisano. Based on NUVOLA – the iconic, softly rounded seat from Moreno Pisano Design Manufaktur – each piece is handcrafted in Italy and hand-painted in Romulo Kuranyi’s Stuttgart studio using professional acrylic paint markers. The result is a collector’s object that is at once seating and artwork – unique within its colourway.

Material & Construction

• Upholstery: Velvet, 100% polyester, approx. 420 g/m². Refined finish, velvety touch, high durability (> 100,000 Martindale).
• Frame: Solid beech and high-grade laminated wood.
• Suspension: Steel sinuous spring suspension for even weight distribution.
• Seat build-up: Multi-layer sandwich of polyether foam RG 35/45 and ReFo foam RG 40/26.
• Back build-up: Comfort foam RG 28/25.
• Seat comfort: Medium to firm.

Production

The body is handcrafted at Moreno Pisano Design Manufaktur in Italy. Painting takes place at Atelier Romulo Kuranyi in Stuttgart. Made to order – approx. 6–8 weeks lead time.

Care

Vacuum regularly with a soft brush. Avoid direct sunlight to preserve colour intensity. Blot stains gently. For heavier soiling, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended.
