THE ARTIST
Romulo Feliciano Kuranyi views his art as an emotional love story, with his true work being the act of sharing it with the world. When he draws, he becomes a poet, with his hand moving as if it has a life of its own. His work tells the story of his Brazilian roots, diverse cultures, and the human encounters that shaped him. His pieces are rich in emotion, combining various elements into a powerful unity that reflects the complexity of life itself. Kuranyi’s style blends indigenous influences with elements of Pop Art, creating colorful, playful, and contradictory works that captivate the eye.
Born in Brazil to a French artist and Brazilian writer, Kuranyi was immersed in a multicultural environment from a young age. His early fascination with indigenous cultures is a recurring theme in his art. His work spans various mediums, including canvases, wall art, and even a Bugatti with 1,500 horsepower. Since 2013, his art has been displayed internationally, including at the Carousel de Louvre in Paris and the PEACE LOVE AND LIGHT exhibition in Frankfurt. He has also collaborated with brands like STABILO and participated in major exhibitions, such as the TRIBUTE TO BOB DYLAN show in 2021.
Born on March 16, 1989, in Petropolis, Brazil, Kuranyi now lives with his family in Rio de Janeiro.
